Takuya Kusaka, Ph. D.
Senior Assistant Professor
Takuya Koumoto was born in Okayama, Japan, on April 3, 1970.
He received the B.E. degree in electric engineering from
Kobe University, Hyo-go, Japan, in 1994, and he received
M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in information science from Graduate
School of Information Science, Nara Institute of Science and
Technology, Nara, Japan in 1996 and 1999, respectively. In
1999, he joined NTT DoCoMo, inc. as a researcher of the 4th
generation mobile communication system. In 2001, he joined
the Hiroshima City University. In 2004, he joined the
Okayama University.
In 2008, he changed his family name from Koumoto to Kusaka.
His current research interests include
coding theory and information security.
